Serena Confalonieri signed the first interior design project, 13.10 Ristorante, a 25-seat boutique restaurant located on the outskirts of Milan. The restaurant develops around an internal courtyard and aims to convey a domestic feeling, thanks to the rational but informal division of spaces.

The interiors, characterized by bright but natural colors, present eclectic and lively patterns, bright colours, refined furnishing objects and custom-made pieces.

The designer involved some prestigious companies in the furniture sector for the project, including HD Surface, Ceramiche Cielo, Wall&Decò, Potocco, Sambonet, Besana Carpet Lab, Florim, Servomuto, MM Lampadari and Fratelli Levaggi. In addition, you have used your own products such as the Opificio's Scott jacquard fabric for the custom-made benches and curtains in the hall, and the Archie table by Medulum.

The project is extremely consistent with the designer's aesthetics and design philosophy, made up of soft contrasts and a balanced use of patterns and colours.

Among the main partners, HD Surface took care of the wall and ceiling finishes, while Ceramiche Cielo signed the bathroom furnishings. Added to these are a series of products designed by Serena Confalonieri herself: the Carnival wallpaper by Wall&Decò chosen for the bathroom, the Stilla mirror by Potocco which gives depth to the corridor connecting the entrance with the restaurant rooms, the Kyma tableware collection by Sambonet and the carpet by Besana Carpet Lab made especially for 13.10 Ristorante.

Among the partner companies, Florim supplied the ceramic coverings, Servomuto and MM Lampadari respectively suspension and wall lamps, Fratelli Levaggi the typical handcrafted Chiavari chairs. Among the products signed by the designer and used in the project, also the Scott jacquard fabric designed for the Opificio, used for the custom-made benches and for the curtains in the entrance, and the Archie table by Medulum, the absolute star of the first room.

For the first time, Serena Confalonieri takes on an interior design project: an opportunity to fully express her creativity – so kaleidoscopic and colourful, which has always been applied to products, graphics and installations. The result is a project that is extremely consistent with the designer's aesthetics and design philosophy, made up of soft contrasts and a balanced use of patterns and colours.
