Lucid Stead is an architectural installation by the artist Phillip K. Smith III, Which he transformed an old existing shack 70 years in the deserts of Joshua Tree, California revitalizing it with mirrors, LED lights and with a technology tailored to accentuate the beauty of the barren landscape.
The artist maintains the dimensions of the cabin and simply adds an element of intrigue and optical illusion through the addition of reflective panels that echo the surrounding landscape.
