Dan Bergeron is a Canadian artist known for his photo-based interventions. His work often focuses on topics ignored by the mass media, trying to highlight exclusions by integrating them into architecture and urban geography. In one of his most recent projects "Gaspesia" the artist has created large portraits of former workers
of a pulp and paper whose closure in 1999 devastated the city of Chandler, Quebec. These images in black and white reaching 30 meters high on the remains of the industrial complex.
