Milan Design Week 2023 is approaching and Marimekko, the Finnish brand that operates in both the fashion and design sectors, is launching a new tableware collection with original works of art by the German artist Sabine Finkenauer, who lives in Barcelona, ​​directly inspired by Pre-Fall 2023 collection.

Using simple subjects and forms, Finkenauer's artworks create a mix of representational and abstract expressions based on repetition and embellish some of the brand's most iconic products. In line with the concept of prêt-à-porter, the Marimekko capsule collection draws inspiration from French modernism and is presented in a unique installation at the Galleria Il Milione.
