Azimut Yachts will present its new installation “The Sea Deck” at Milan Design Week 2023, which will take place from 17 to 23 April. The floating installation was created in collaboration with AMDL CIRCLE and Michele De Lucchi, and was designed to provide visitors with a unique experience on the sea, as well as to illustrate their commitment to protect the marine environment.

Azimut Yachts has combined innovative technological solutions with exceptional design to create the Seadeck Series, the first series of hybrid motoryachts for the family. Compared to traditional flybridge boats, these yachts produce 40% less CO2 emissions in an average year of use. The installation "The Sea Deck" was created to offer visitors an emotional walk on the water and a unique perspective on the Milan docks, with the aim of sharing the experience of "going beyond" and reconnecting with nature , the essence of navigation.

The installation was designed to evoke the aft terrace of the Seadeck Series yachts, the Fun Island, which offers a panoramic view of the sea and an immersive experience in nature. The floating promenade consists of a loop suspended over the water, which takes visitors along a path that includes cantilevered terraces and interactive stations, inspired by the opening "wings" of Seadeck yachts. The flooring of the installation was created with recycled and ground cork bottle caps, an environmentally friendly material that will later be transformed into insulating material for the architecture.

The installation "The Sea Deck" was created with the aim of supporting sustainability and circularity, values that have been sponsored by the Municipality of Milan. Additionally, the installation was designed to offer a new perspective on the city's ancient waterways and to reconnect with water in a sustainable way. Indeed, Azimut Yachts has made a great effort to reduce the environmental impact of its products, using natural, recycled and recyclable materials.

“The Sea Deck” offers visitors a unique and engaging experience, a journey that will lead them to discover the route traced by Azimut to protect the sea and to connect with nature responsibly. The installation is an invitation to explore new horizons, both physical and conceptual, and to imagine a sustainable future for the marine environment.
