Antwerp's Botanic Sanctuary is an enchanted place, a jewel hidden behind the walls of an ancient monastery. The five-star hotel, part of the Leading Hotels of the world consortium, is a true oasis of peace and silence where craftsmanship, innovation, sustainability and tradition blend harmoniously.

The restoration project of the buildings, which date back to 1238, was designed to preserve their historical value, but also to comply with the highest technical and sustainable standards. The result is a peaceful and extremely comfortable retreat where guests can relax, surrounded by trees, rare plants and medicinal and aromatic herbs.

The hotel has 108 rooms and suites, as well as several conference rooms, a large wellness area and a small chapel. Five restaurants, awarded a total of four Michelin stars, also ensure an exclusive culinary experience. For the interior design, only materials have been used that reflect the unique character of the buildings: natural stone, warm wood, wrought iron structures and fine fabrics. A sober but cheerful color palette underlines the historical dimension of the place and takes up the green of the plants distributed throughout.

The understated design of the bedroom bathrooms, characterized by white plastered walls, anthracite colored natural stone sinks and floors, marries perfectly with the Dark Platinum brushed finish of the Dornbracht Vaia taps. The finish contrasts strikingly with the light-colored walls and makes the texture of the natural stone more delicate. Dornbracht was also chosen for the showers and the tub edge fittings.

In the spa area, Dornbracht Vaia faucets were used in the changing rooms, where a warm gray tone predominates. Here the touchfree version was chosen, again in the brushed Dark Platinum variant, perfectly coordinated with the large mirror and the cylindrical suspension lamps. Here too, the earthy tone of the finishes accentuates the sobriety of the interiors. The same combination is also present in the massage rooms.

With their balanced design that masterfully combines classic and contemporary elements, Dornbracht faucets harmoniously complement the Antwerp Botanic Sanctuary project: tied to tradition, but firmly anchored in the present. In summary, the Antwerp Botanic Sanctuary is a place where essential beauty, tradition and innovation come together to create an unforgettable stay experience.
