Light and design merge in Lucente, the new project by Gupica for Visionnaire. Presented at the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2023, this collection of lamps inspired by precious stones, made with a material regenerated from PMMA, offers suggestive lighting effects thanks to the opaque LED sources.
In the world of made in Italy interior design, light plays a fundamental role in enriching environments, creating suggestive effects and unique atmospheres. It is precisely in this vision that “Lucente” fits in, the new light design project signed by Gupica for Visionnaire.
Presented as a preview at the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2023, which was held at the prestigious Rho Fiera Milano, the Lucente collection garnered attention and acclaim within the Visionnaire stand. The designer Gupica has thus resumed the collaboration with the renowned brand, carrying forward her talent and her mastery in the creation of exceptional luminous objects.
Inspired by the behavior of light that breaks and reflects on the faceted surfaces of precious stones, the Lucente collection enchants and seduces with its shapes and volumes of sophisticated simplicity. The diffuser bodies of the lamps take on the appearance of colored gems, giving each piece a timeless elegance.
What makes this collection truly unique is the material used to make it. A first-second material, obtained from the regeneration of PMMA, more commonly known as Plexiglass. Through a process of rebirth, PMMA takes on a completely new aspect, giving the lamps a brightness and purity never seen before.
The light source is made up of opaque LEDs which, passing through the stones, generate diffused lighting which enhances the transparencies and colours. Each piece is handcrafted, giving them a particular gradient appearance, enhanced by the magic of light. A real chromatic spectrum that radiates into the surrounding environment, giving a touch of poetry and charm to the spaces in which these luminous works of art are placed.
Lucente, in addition to being a collection of lamps, represents a real union between art, design and innovation.
