Medusa, Chinita and Bellota: in the wicker lamps Claesson Koivisto Rune at the London Design Festival 2013
The Medusa lamps, with their oval-shaped lampshades, appear to be balanced on numerous slender tentacles. Slim, yet wonderfully elegant. Rather than cutting off the excess wicker lengths, as is usually done, the designers have thought of adding metal wires that can support the lamp body. The resulting designs rearrange the shapes of the floating jellyfish with their numerous extremely thin and long threads.

A theatrical set a la Dogville by Lars von Trier, an impossible architecture, the lamps Foscarini that come to life behind a succession of windows through which to imagine glimpses of houses and the personality of those who live.
The idea from which he started Luca Nichetto to stage "Magic Windows" (in Rosenlundsgatan 38C Stockholm - from 4 to 9 February 2013) arises from the typically Nordic habit of not closing domestic interior curtains behind curtains, giving snapshots of light and letting fragments of everyday life leak out.
