Chalet D is a charming mountain retreat located in the Austrian Alps. This holiday chalet, renovated by the monovolume architecture + design firm, offers a typically Alpine atmosphere with oak wood, stone walls and exposed beams.

Nestled in the majestic Austrian Alps, Chalet D presents itself as a dream come true for those looking to relax in a picturesque mountain setting. This holiday chalet, equipped with a spa area, offers a pleasant stay experience for the whole family.

The renovation project of Chalet D has given the existing building a new identity, putting it in harmony with the surrounding environment. The oak wood, dry stone walls and exposed beams give this chalet an authentically alpine feel. Outside, the wood has been treated and restored to its original splendour.

Inside, the crossbeams have been restored and stand out with their dark colouring, lending a touch of rustic elegance. The large windows offer different panoramic perspectives on the surrounding mountains. The light oak wood and the two indoor fireplaces create a welcoming and warm atmosphere. The shades of blue in the furnishings, present in the cushions and curtains, recall the element of water, central to relaxation in the spa area.

Chalet D has four spacious bedrooms, each with its own sitting room and en-suite bathroom, providing the opportunity to retreat and relax on the top floor. On the middle floor, a modern kitchen, a large dining room and a large living room create a convivial space for sharing moments. Furthermore, a large terrace allows guests to enjoy breakfast outdoors, organize a barbecue or simply sunbathe.

On floor minus two is the spa area, an oasis of well-being and relaxation. The use of soft materials, muted colors and blue LED lighting help to create an atmosphere of complete relaxation.

Chalet D was designed by the South Tyrolean architecture and design studio monovolume architecture + design. Founded in 2003 by the two talented architects Patrik Pedó and Jury Pobitzer, monovolume architecture + design specializes in the implementation of renovations and new buildings. Their portfolio includes concept studies, architectural and design planning, construction planning and supervision, 3D visualization and virtual reality, as well as urban planning and masterplan projects.

At the heart of monovolume architecture + design beats a young, interdisciplinary and international team made up of 15 creatives including architects, industrial designers, 3D artists and graphic designers. Architectural planning, the preparation of exhibitions and displays and product design are the core sectors of the studio's activity.

Thanks to the innovative vision of monovolume architecture + design and attention to detail, Chalet D represents an architectural work that blends harmoniously with the surrounding environment, offering an unparalleled place of relaxation and well-being in the heart of the Austrian Alps.
