Bel Corpo is a body aesthetic studio located in Moscow, designed by Babayants architectural studio. The emotive and minimalist design of the space features rounded shapes, tactile textures and a warm range of colors, creating a meditative atmosphere.

Moscow is now home to a new body aesthetic studio, called Bel Corpo, designed by the renowned architecture firm Babayants. This project represents their first foray into the commercial sector, having specialized in private interiors and architecture.

The emotional design of Bel Corpo was created to satisfy the requests of the client, who wanted an atmospheric, aesthetic and emotional space, but at the same time minimalist. Thanks to effective communication and a shared aesthetic vision between the architects and the client, the creators of the project had greater freedom in the choice of stylistic and technical solutions.

The client is a supporter of a healthy and sporty lifestyle, and has always had the dream of creating a space dedicated to body aesthetics. Bel Corpo specializes in body care treatments, and the main objective of the project was to create an environment where guests could feel physically, emotionally and visually at ease.

The interior of the studio is characterized by softness and sensuality, with a focus on relaxation and self-care. Rounded shapes, tactile textures, soft lines and a warm range of colors create an almost meditative atmosphere. The recurring thought when thinking about Bel Corpo is that of soft and hydrated skin, seductive curves of the female body, internal light and vital energy.

Bel Corpo's concept and design principles aim to bring people back to the present moment. Upon entering the studio, guests forget they are in the heart of the city and leave thoughts of the past and future behind, instead focusing on the present moment and self-care.

Babayants architects have adopted the principle of eliminating all that is not essential, focusing on the main emotion which is admiration for the beauty of the female body, its softness and naturalness. The interior design is based on a monochromatic range of colors, plastic shapes, tactile materials and a well-studied light to create a sensual atmosphere.

Each element present in the project has its own essentiality, contributing to a visually clean composition. Nothing can be taken away without compromising the overall balance. The interior architecture is characterized by rounded arches and soft lines in every detail.

The walls and railings have been hand-coated with plaster to create visual depth, tactility and sensibility. The floor is made with a natural stone with a unique texture, which offers a tactile experience that is pleasant to the touch.

The reception, bar and wardrobe furniture were custom made in fiberglass, all with rounded shapes. The glossy surfaces contrast beautifully with the matt and rough ones, adding a touch of playfulness and lightness to the environment.

Light plays an equally important role in the Bel Corpo project. There are direct lights and accent lights with different shading scenarios, creating an immersive space. Each room has dimmable lights on the walls to control the hue and brightness of the color and light.

The decorative pendant lights in the atrium were designed by Michael Anastassiades and integrate perfectly into the geometry of the space, further emphasizing it.

But the deeper meaning of the project lies in the naturalness, inspiration and adoration of the beauty of nature, the lines, shapes and nuances it offers. Instead of decorative objects, there are tree trunks without bark, a symbol of strength and the eternal beauty of nature.

On the second level of the atrium, dry grass from the Netherlands was placed, creating a herbaceous scent reminiscent of a green lawn. This element contributes to guests' relaxation and creates a spectacular backdrop for the oxygen capsule located in a room on the second floor. This capsule has the appearance of a space object, and the image of the capsule against the grass background was conceived from the beginning of the project, completing it with 100% accuracy.

As for the functional program, the atrium welcomes guests, offering a reception area, a bar serving fresh smoothies, and a lounge area by the window. The first level of the studio includes separate men's and women's changing rooms with shower cabins, a SPA, a shower room and massage rooms with bathrooms. The second level houses a room with an oxygen capsule, a staff area, rooms for massages and other body treatments with separate bathrooms, as well as a service area.

Bel Corpo represents an oasis of tranquility and beauty in the heart of the city, where guests can spend precious time taking care of themselves and rediscover the pleasure of living in the present moment.
