Description

The iconic Taccia lamp is now available in a mini version! It uses LED technology for low consumption, durable and quality lighting. Designed by the Castiglioni brothers, the Taccia lamp is one of the greatest classics of light. It came out of the Flos ateliers in 1962 and looks like a projector. Taccia celebrates the industrial design dear to our two Italian designers. This lamp consists of a striated aluminum base on which a deep transparent glass bell is articulated. A painted aluminum disc covers the bell and acts as a reflective screen for the bulb hidden inside the lamp. Taccia diffuses high quality indirect light that can be adjusted from top to bottom. A true icon of design, the aesthetic qualities of Taccia endure: resting on a piece of furniture or even on the floor, it brings a decidedly avant-garde loft style. Achille Castiglioni said of Taccia in 1970 that he represented "the Mercedes of lamps, a symbol of success: perhaps because it recalls a classic column". Model from 1962 - Adjustable diffuser - Indirect and reflected light - Integrated LED source (not replaceable): 1 COB LED 2700K 1290 LM CRI 92 - 16W - Dimmer
