Description

The iconic Taccia lamp is now available in a mini version! It uses LED technology for low consumption, durable and quality lighting. Designed by the Castiglioni brothers, the Taccia lamp is one of the great classics of light. It emerges from the Flos ateliers in 1962 and looks like a projector. Taccia celebrates the industrial design dear to our two Italian designers. This lamp is composed of a striated aluminum base on which there is a deep transparent glass bell. A painted aluminum disc covers the bell and acts as a reflecting screen for the bulb hidden in the body of the lamp. Taccia diffuses a high quality indirect light, adjustable from top to bottom. A true icon of design, the aesthetic qualities of Taccia persist: resting on a piece of furniture or on the ground, it brings a truly avant-garde loft style. Achille Castiglioni said of Taccia in 1970 that he represented "the Mercedes of lamps, a symbol of success: perhaps because it recalls a classic column". Model from 1962 - Adjustable diffuser - Indirect and reflected light - Integrated LED source (not replaceable): 1 COB LED 2700K 1290 LM CRI 92 - 16W - Dimmer
