LAGO renews its digital ecosystem and strengthens its relationship with its community: the new website is online it has been modified: 2023-07-05 di aaapress

The new one is online LAKE website. The company, leader in the design and furniture sector, renews the main and daily point of contact with its community, which today has over one million "Likes" on Facebook, 488 followers on Instagram and 42 on LinkedIn.

LAGO consolidates a path started for years and made up of real "digital companies", such as those of free digital consultancy and the online configurator, thus confirming itself as oriented towards making its own an increasingly dynamic, integrated and consumer-oriented virtual future, capable of dialogue with concrete needs with a view to constant improvement of performance, including those relating to the impact on the environment, and digitization of processes. An evolution of the relationship between company and community designed to provide tailor-made services for architects, dealers and consumers, increase the level of customizable browsing experience through the reserved area and implement digital and configurator performances: aspects that in recent months have seen an extraordinary start, with the time spent by users on the site already increased by 50% and reduced average load times by 60%.

The concreteness and implementation of an increasingly sustainable philosophy that has accompanied the design brand for years has also been revealed in the new digital presence. The starting point for the architecture of the new site, in fact, was the development of a serverless system: it is an innovative methodology that allows the servers to be activated only on need and request, avoiding to remain active all the time. A technology which therefore has a strong positive impact on consumption and emissions, as the machines remain functional only when strictly necessary. The use of these systems made it possible reduce bandwidth consumption, costs up to 70% and CO emissions2 in the environment up to 40%compared to the previous site, thus extending LAGO's path to sustainability also to its digital principals.

The user experience has been significantly improved, involving around five hundred private individuals, architects and dealers in every phase of its planning, to identify the concrete needs of users and the critical points of navigation flows. Once the objectives were established, the substantial work of wireframing, concept, design and development began which led to the final result, aimed at offering a more inclusive and personalized browsing experience for each target. The idea, mediating data and technology, is that in the future the site can offer every type of user a browsing experience Tailor-made. Many of the site's features go in this direction, even those already introduced in recent years, such as the 3D configurator, which today sees almost 150 products per day, the reserved area and the various areas dedicated to individual users such as architects, dealers and consumers. To these is added a new section, “Inspiration”, which allows you to browse the site and discover LAGO products from a new, more independent, immersive and visually impactful perspective. Thanks to a greater study of multimedia materials such as images and videos, the key characteristics of the products have been highlighted, with content specifically designed to demonstrate the quality of each LAGO piece of furniture.

“Being the tenth of ten children, I received the imprint of the community from an early age, which is probably why at LAGO we have always believed in the strength of the team and seized the opportunity when, many years ago, digital began to distort balances to continually outline new ones.” - he says Daniele Lago, CEO and Head of Design of LAGO Spa. “I remember creating the first site during the new economy bubble and when I saw that a few hundred people came in a day to discover our products it was crazy. Now we have designed this new home for our community and tens of thousands of people enter it every day. For us, that approach of many years ago remains firm with the desire to offer the best we know how to do through the design of our products, the way we build them and the way we relate to our customers, architects and much more from all parts of the world. That house is still at the same address, but now it's more beautiful and makes itself understood much better, because  I have always thought that design should be simple in making itself understood and included and not vice versa.”
