DuPont ™ Corian® announces the winners of the international design competition "Shape The Future of Black", Launched throughout the region Europe, Middle East and Africa.
The competition was open to professionals and students (as two distinct categories) in the fields of architecture, furniture, interior design, industrial design, design, decorative arts, engineering, and similar activities.
Anna Strupinskaya with the “Coco_Tub” project is the winner in the professional category of the “Shape The Future of Black” design competition.
A slightly sloping shape facilitates access to the tub for an excellent combination of comfort and elegance. The matte outer surface made in the color of DuPont ™ Corian® Deep Nocturne combined with the glossy white of the interior, also made of DuPont ™ Corian®, makes the creation resemble a coconut.
While the winner in the student category is Natalia Strekalovskaya with the "Universal Wall Panel" project
The “Universal Wall Panel” project (universal wall panel) can be used in residential and public buildings. The panels can be an active part of the decoration of any interior, and the relief recalls the symmetrical design of a braid. It is clean and calm. It vividly reveals the depth and beauty of the black color of DuPont ™ Corian® made with the innovative DeepColour ™ Technology * manufacturing technology.
