Among the events of Milan Design Week 2023 is the return of the House of Switzerland, the Swiss project that aims to promote Swiss design around the world.

Following the successful partnership in 2022, Presence Switzerland and Pro Helvetia are teaming up once again to host the House of Switzerland, presenting a new exhibition entitled “Urgent Legacy”. The aim is to raise public awareness of Swiss design and to arouse interest in the international community.

The exhibition is made up of a group of emerging designers, independent studios, established brands and Swiss training institutes, who present innovative and sustainable solutions to face the challenges of the present. All exhibitors have been selected by an independent jury made up of international experts.

The exhibited projects embody functional aesthetics and contribute to making the world a more resilient and sustainable place. The attention is directed to the search for innovative solutions and the recovery of materials, through an ecological approach with low environmental impact.

The presence of the House of Switzerland at Milan Design Week 2023 is a unique opportunity to discover the best of Swiss design and to appreciate the creativity and sustainability of the proposed solutions.

Swiss design has always represented a point of reference on the international scene, thanks to the quality and innovation of its projects. The House of Switzerland wants to underline the central role of design in the social and economic progress of the country, and the Milan Design Week represents the ideal stage for making Swiss talent known to the world.
