Dudesign, led by Domenico Urraro, has created a shop inspired by the 60s, with pastel colors and golden details. The design recalls Pompeian art and offers flexibility thanks to the arrangement of the furniture. Mirror-coated pillars create an illusion of continuity.

Dudesign, the design studio led by Domenico Urraro, has created a unique and fascinating space that stands out for its combination of bright colors and high quality materials. This project, inspired by the 60s, represents a modern reinterpretation of the design of that era, with a touch of class and sophistication.

The multi-brand store presents itself as an open space, without apparent boundaries, and required a design that would highlight the different display areas. Domenico Urraro, originally from San Giuseppe Vesuviano, a small town on the slopes of Vesuvius near Pompeii, drew inspiration from the famous Pompeian frescoes of the Roman era for his contrasting but controlled chromatic research.

The study of color was essential to create order in such an open space. Graphic details, such as the gilded chrome hangers and picture frames on the walls, recall the style of the 60s. The use of horizontal and vertical shelves, with warm colors and walnut edges, helps to give a compositional rigor to the environment.

A distinctive feature of this space is its maximum flexibility. The horizontal shelves can be moved at will to change the display of the garments. Furthermore, four cylindrical corners and three display tables move freely in the space, interrupting the continuous pattern of the wooden floor.

Despite the vastness of the space, there are only two pillars that interrupt the overall view. However, thanks to the mirror coating that completely envelops them, these pillars become an integral part of the design, creating an optical illusion of continuity and making their presence almost imperceptible.

Inside the store, an exclusive space has been created for the designer's haute couture garments. This area stands out from the others thanks to a full-wall paneling, characterized by a gilded chrome structure that gives brightness and elegance to the environment. This space is inspired by the lightness of flamingos' legs, creating a minimalist silhouette that is emphasized by the wallpaper.

The windows follow a completely vertical graphic game, with walnut strips and a golden chrome bar. Not only does this design act as a separation between indoors and out, but it also provides support for displaying garments and window dressing.

Domenico Urraro, the designer behind Dudesign, has a technical background combined with interior and product design. Her experience and his cultural background are reflected in his projects, which combine the stylistic perfection of classical architecture with a contemporary look. Each project is unique and personalized, created with a strong attention to detail and customer needs.

In conclusion, the space designed by Dudesign represents a fascinating mix of colours, shapes and materials, inspired by the 60s but with a modern twist. Thanks to the creative use of colours, materials and graphic elements, Domenico Urraro has transformed an open space into a captivating and functional place, capable of capturing the attention of visitors and offering a unique shopping experience.
