Meera House was designed by Guz Architects and is located on Sentosa Island in Singapore. We consider it a bold and original project: after all, not many houses have green spaces on every floor of the building.
Here is a brief description of the architects:
“Our strategy was to build a solid wall on each side of the bottom to ensure privacy where possible, creating a central light and stairwell which would be the gateway for the sea breeze through the center of the building. The front and rear parts allow each floor to have visual or actual access to the greenery. The aim was to try and allow each landscaped garden to provide a base for the upper floor allowing the tiered effect to make each floor as if it were a ground floor dwelling with a garden. “
