When, in 2006, Marc Sadler designed a floor lamp for Foscarini inspired by the flexibility of a fishing rod, no one imagined the enormous success it would have.
Its simple, elegant movement and strong personality make it ideal for contemporary interior design projects.
Twiggy now lives a new, double life.
Twice as Twiggy, a gigantic oversize re-edition of the Twiggy with LED lights, is an object of imposing dimensions, which defines the space with great personality. Also in the Twice as Twiggy version it has been possible to maintain all the lightness and flexibility of the long stem, keeping the small diameter, balancing the diffuser, extremely light, with a suitably sized base while the lampshade can be positioned as desired. up or down thanks to a system of counterweights.
With its important presence, Twice as Twiggy defines the space in larger rooms, such as the lobby of a hotel or a loft, of which it becomes a focal point offering - under its arched embrace illuminated by a warm light - an intimate corner for conversation, reading or working.
A further novelty for Twiggy are the new colors, developed during a process of redefining the iconic Foscarini models, which have been rethought as if they had been designed today. Twiggy is therefore now also available in a particular tip of red, crimson, in an extremely contemporary indigo blue and in greige, a neutral and sophisticated color, born from a special blend of gray and beige. The new shades combine with the essentiality of the classic black and white versions.
