Parione9 gallery presents Urban Code, the first solo exhibition of Francesca Balducci, illustrator and artist from Rome, which has directed its research on the theme of the city in recent years, as an opportunity for a survey on the sign and the relationship between this and the visual imaginary , collective and personal.

"The starting point of the drawings is the experience or the memory of the experience of a physical place or fantasy. The act of drawing, in this context, can be compared to the activity of a seismograph that attempts to record the essentials of those feelings, transforming them on the surface to be drawn. "

14 the works on display, the result of layers of meanings and symbols that inhabit the artist's memory, are his URBAN CODE: skylines where real and imaginary architectural elements give birth to new urban landscapes, graphic signs that are manifested through a personal rewriting of his experience.
