For the second time at the Milan Design Week, Sikalindi focuses on new models capable of arousing emotions and bearing the signature of Sandro Santantonio Design.

The real challenge was to shape a material so natural and noble forge modern and visually stunning. The processing of the fiber to the edge combined with painting is proof of the technical capacity of these two entities.

The combination of color to the natural material becomes strong point of the collection itself.

Each object has required great study and also deep knowledge of Salento. The names themselves were chosen from "griko" language still spoken today in the lands of Lecce, language capable of giving a true address of Made in Italy.

At the Palace of Milan Triennale will be exposed Kauri tables, bowls and vase Cerasa Kalami Kauri (transl .: crab): A collection of tables with a prickly pear fiber surface. The collection includes different shapes: circle, square, rectangle and triangle… but… rigorously softened according to nature. Available in different sizes and colors. The tops are mounted on bases of different heights or on tapered legs.

Cerasa (transl .: cherry): A sequence of semi-spherical bowls that interpenetrate each other, creating a fun visual game on the table. The fiber is applied inside and the containers thus become… tactile pleasures. Available in different sizes and colors.
Kalami (Trans .: cane): Vases "exploded and deconstructed" in alternating bands of color to the fiber. The conical shape emphasizes the dynamic effect and highlights the corners refined typical processing. Available in different sizes and colors.
