The new Saturn handle by Manital designed by Mario Mazzer and Giovanni Crosera is among the winners of the Good Design 2015 "Hardware" in the category.

The aim of Good Design, since its foundation in 1950, is to highlight the best results obtained by designers and professionals from all over the world. Manital, to his second Good Design, is particularly proud of having obtained it with Saturn, because it is a new handle concept.

Saturn stands out immediately for important measures of the rosette: wide 180 mm and high 152 and composed of two disks, one external, from which develops a small semi-circle extension to which the handle is applied and an internal one, with a diameter of 103 mm, which makes it unique. The internal disk, in fact, in addition to being available in various finishes and coatings, can be customized through the laser engraving of a phrase, a logo, a trademark. Saturn is therefore a characterizing element of the door that, due to the possibility of being custom, It can be appreciated in both residential either in the contract.

The internal disk can be easily replaced and purchased also individually, thus becoming an element that can be renewed over time.

Today the company offers the system in the following variants: external disk and handle in the finishes Chrome, Satin chrome and Anthracite; internal disk in the finishes Chrome, Satin chrome, Satin copper, covered in leather or engraved on request.

The award Good Design, now in its sixty-fifth edition, was established by architects Eero Saarinen, Charles and Ray Eames and Edgard Kaufmann. It is organized by "The Chicago Athenaeum, Museum of Architecture and Design" and "European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies".
