The Boulder House is a residence built for a client who places great importance on privacy in an area where it is difficult to guarantee it. To protect privacy, the architect reduced the windows to a minimum, with the exception of those facing the east-facing garden. This choice resulted in the building taking on a particularly massive appearance. To highlight this unusual feature, the architect planned to make it look like a huge rock. He paid great attention to the selection of exterior cladding materials and construction methods to give the building the appearance of a massive rock.
