TARTAN blown glass lamp designed by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba inspired by the unmistakable design of the woolen fabrics of Scottish kilts, an intersection of perpendicular lines that generate more and different geometric patterns.

From this inspiration, Ludovica and Roberto Palomba have created along with Foscarini another variation on the theme of blown glass lamp, continuing a process that began in 1998 with Dom model and continued with the Rituals of the lamp family.

In the suspended lamp Tartan, realized with the technique of blowing in mouth inside a mold with special incisions, the diffuser is enriched with lines and folds, generating a graphic play of lights and shadows. The etching of the glass surface also provides a feeling of soft material that draws the fabric.

Full of personality, Tartan diffuses a warm light and soft environment, filtered by opaque glass, and provides good direct illuminaziore down.
