Ivy garden furniture lets itself be invaded by vegetation until it transforms itself, over time, into a real plant sculpture! The steel mesh structure forms a trellis to which the climbing plants of your garden cling... The designer Paola Navone wanted to pay homage to topiary art (Ivy means "ivy" in English). The designer transports the living room from indoors to outdoors, in an airy, almost immaterial form. Ivy has kept only the line of the traditional sofa: wide seat and back, large armrests. The massive and familiar shapes are reinterpreted with incredible lightness, thanks to a thin steel mesh structure. The empty volumes are sculpted from this metal casing with perforated motifs. This hybrid line exudes both a modern feel and a disconcerting impression of familiarity. Ivy is the result of a complex steel processing, made possible thanks to cutting-edge technologies. The thin sheet steel is modeled on a thin structure, like a soft fabric. Rigid by nature, steel transforms into a flexible material, capable of adopting rounded and fluid shapes. While obviously its place is in the garden, the Ivy sofa is welcome indoors, in a living room, conservatory or hotel lobby, where it brings a natural touch of freshness. It is available in 4 colors: white, dark blue, orange and light turquoise.
