Description
Air is a bookcase by Lago made of lacquered wood or Wildwood oak and tempered glass six times stronger than normal glass, able to withstand strong impacts. Air Shelf plays with the transparencies and colors of the materials with which it is made. Contemporary volumes in a geometry of contrasts which, by combining different colors, gives life to a fresh but never banal composition. The wooden shelves contrast with the transparency of the glass supports, creating a great sensation of lightness. The bookcase seems to float, letting the light filter in and making the rooms bright. Air Shelf does not require any wall fixing, completely freestanding. The shelves are finished on both sides, allowing the bookcase to be positioned in the center of the room or as a room divider.
