Description
This kettle (1983) was the first of Alessi's signature kettles. The central element of the project is the brass whistle in the pipes of which two choristers in E and Si have been inserted which, when the steam comes out, produce a small, nice melody. Sapper wanted to avoid the usual anxious noise produced by the other kettles then on the market, and following this exquisitely poetic indication, Alessi's first multi-sensory object was born.
