We already talked about Simon Beck, and how he spends his days walking with snowshoes at his feet to create spectacular designs on snowy expanses. Similarly but with a simple rake the English artist Tony he makes equally striking drawings in the sand. He calls them ethereal works and has been doing them for over twenty years. He interacts with the environment by creating these temporary works which he then lets nature erase. These sand drawings are another example of temporary art.

Distortions of the Past; Collaborations for the Future is a series of geometric collages created by the Vancouver-based artist Randy GRSKOVIC. The project is based on found photographs and the distortion of memories captured within each frame. After discovering and collecting the photographs in flea markets or antique shops, Grskovic literally slices them and then reassembles them like a puzzle.
