Positioned on a compact strip of land between the sea and the road, Yasutaka Yoshimura Architects they designed "window house" in Kanagawa, Japan:
a small residence built around a staircase that offers sweeping views of Mount Fuji and Sagami Bay. The three-storey structure is defined by large openings on both sides that allow light to pervade inside. Thanks to its perched position the house protect its inhabitants from flooding.
