A small portable house built with two large water tanks

Made from two huge water tanks and a few other materials, mostly recycled, Taku-Tanku is a small portable home that's quick and easy to build.

“Taku-Tanku”, can accommodate two or three people, could potentially be used as a refuge, say its creators, the architectural firm Stereotank and the Japanese designer Takahiro Fukuda.
