Spring Time / Sustainable Ice Cream Cart

 

in collaboration with Dutch companies ijs & zopie e odenwald organics, The design studio spring time based in Amsterdam has built “Sustainable Ice Cream Cart”, an automatic device that keeps ice cream cold using solar energy. The transparent photovoltaic panel on the roof during the day generates the electricity that the efficient AGM batteries accumulate and redistribute even when the sun is not shining.

Panasonic Photosyntesis, energy optimization and sustainability

Panasonic brings the concept of a project for the creation, storage and use of electricity through energy-saving LED and OLED light sources to the 2012 furniture fair. The installation by the Japanese architect Akihisa Hirata, included in the Interni Legacy exhibition, in the courtyards of the State University, underlines the affinity of the system to chlorophyll photosynthesis.
