David Coluzzi DAZ / restaurant The sun of Naples: between tradition and modernity
The sun of Naples is a restaurant designed by David Coluzzi DAZ, Characterized by 'union between tradition and modernity, The spaces are large and are mono color, the wall is covered with traditional Vietri ceramics handmade. The graphics classic decorations ceramic is interpreted in a contemporary way on the window stickers and posters with a play of transparency, the wood stove is the vanishing point perspective, the glass that protects the working area is continuous with the wooden floor. The colors are desaturated to give importance to ceramics.

The idea of the project realized by the architectural firm David Coluzzi DAZ It is to merge the business of selling fresh fish at retail, administration and catering. The concept is based on 'union of elements that recall the sea, As in a boat floating surrounded by scales of fish. The 'cold and clean atmosphere of the fish market is interspersed with wooden elements in the restaurant to heat the intimate atmosphere of the meal. The location is formed from two large rooms, the first, input is dedicated to the sale to the detail and tables aperitif punctiform illuminated, the second room is characterized from a table with benches coated as in a ship.

renovation of an apartment in Rome of 50 sqm. The idea developed in the project is based on research to exploit all the available space, the living area is characterized by large, bright red color that has an aesthetic effect with a game of contrasts wall equipped with shelves used as a library.
