GEBERIT and Stefano Boeri's “Bosco Verticale”

Geberit, the leading Swiss group in hydraulic systems, contributed to the realization of the “Bosco Verticale” by Stefano Boeri for the new buildings in Milan Porta Nuova (Via de Castillia) designed with the architects Gianandrea Barreca and Giovanni La Varra. In a structure where water plays a fundamental role the team led by Boeri chose Geberit for the engineering of the hydraulic systems. In fact, the team of Geberit consultants supported the designers in identifying the most suitable solutions, including for example the Geberit Mepla system, which by combining metal and plastic sheath guarantees - in addition to ease of installation - perfect hygiene, in line with most recent DM174 directives on drinking water.

Geberit “Inconsapevoli Fountains” at Bologna Water Design 2013 against water waste!

It is wrong to think that "a pipe does not understand us" if it is Geberit, the leading Swiss group in sanitary technology that in Bologna, between 23 and 27 September, will present an installation created by architects. Michela Benaglia e Domenico Orefice (Benaglia + Orefice Studio) to reflect on the waste of water we all witness (and contribute!) On a daily basis. Hundreds of bottles of water hanging from the vault of an ancient room of the Ex Ospedale dei Bastardini (Via Massimo d'Azeglio 41) will give life to "Unaware fountains" with microphones and lights that will boost the suggestion made by the drops in space.

AXOR / the new “WATERDREAM” by FRONT and NENDO at Cersaie 2013

"What we are looking for in the relationship with the great designers of our time is not simply a new shape for a faucet or a shower" explains Philippe Grohe, head of the Axor brand “We literally want to revolutionize the relationship between man and his most precious element: water”.

And while not a year has passed since the presentation of the most ecological mixer in the world (Axor Starck Organic designed for the company by Philippe Starck) will be the Cersaie of Bologna to host the international premiere of two new "dreamers" called by Axor to contribute to this impressive research work: the Japanese NENDO and Swedish FRONT DESIGN.
