On the occasion of the Fuorisalone, Listone Giordano presents a preview of Biscuit, the new collection designed by Patricia Urquiola.
Characterized by compositions of lines and shapes in freedom, to rediscover their natural wood floors and decorative vocation gives the material a more sinuous configuration.
Biscuit was born from an in-depth analysis of traditional parquet laying systems and becomes an ideal link between the historical legacy of the wooden flooring system and contemporary style. The end of the strips is imagined as a rounded profile and therefore modifies the usual linear character of the module, giving it a strong personality.
The result is multiple versions of parquet, each of which refers to a different language but with an absolutely current cutting value. Inlay, mosaic, herringbone, regular formwork: whatever the chosen installation, Biscuit makes the flooring look like a fabric rich in intertwining and overlapping.
The gauge fluid is finally accentuated by the camber to run, which covers the surface of the plank giving a sense of further softness to the natural material.
