SLIDE presents at the Salone del Mobile 2014 a long series of novelties, signed by the SLIDE Studio and by internationally renowned designers such as Marc Sadler, Goran Lelas, Karim Rashid and the continuous collaboration with young emerging designers.
The news does not relate only to the launch of new products made with traditional rotational molding technology, but also the turning undertaken by the company in the use of new materials and innovative production processes.
SLIDE, in fact, as a result of exploration began last year molding injection polyurethane, at this year's Salone del Mobile consolidates all new projects with an evolution dictated by the demands of the market and the company's desire to make more the most complete and competitive their offer. The new structure envisages that the extension of the collection of lamps and chairs, even the extension of the "Geoline" collections and "Jars" inspired by a philosophy of macrodesign, that propose large-sized objects that are in common use.
During the week of the Salone del Mobile, in addition to being present at the Rho-Pero Fair at Hall 16 Stand E48, SLIDE will also be present at the Fuorisalone at the ExAnsaldo area in via Tortona 54 with the Fantasyland project - a magical world where art and design coexist. The flagship event will be on Friday 11 April with the SLIDE Party, a free admission party at the ExAnsaldo space with cocktail bar, light, music and fun.
TARTA chair

The chair Tarta is the new seat in rigid polyurethane made by injection molding of the SLIDE collection. The shape of this chair is characterized by the geometrical combination of repeated hexagonal modules. For each module it has been allocated a three-dimensionality by creating an enveloping chair. Tarta is proposed with the elegant combination of colored rigid polyurethane that make up the seat and wood in which the legs of the seat are made. Its shape is reminiscent of the organic lines of a turtle shell, from which inspired the name Tarta. It makes the idea of a durable seat, but at the same time cozy and comfortable.

Tarta Table is a coffee table combined with the Tarta seat, also made of rigid polyurethane floor. Tarta Table is available with the elegant combination of colored rigid polyurethane and wood where the table legs are made. Tarta Table is a piece of furniture from the playful shapes but with a modern style and extremely versatile.

A display born from the collaboration with the eclectic Karim Rashid, made of polyethylene through rotational molding. Splay can be used as an exhibitor or as an exhibition island in different areas and sectors and is ideal as a display for the retail sector or as a module for banqueting / catering for the most spectacular events. Splay is equipped with an elegant glass top and is also available in the luminous version with energy saving lighting or with RGB LED technology.

Design Antonio Norero
Designed by Antonio Norero, Prêt-à-Porter is an exclusive portable desk lamp. Equipped with a small handle, it can be moved easily. Its special shape allows a homogeneous diffusion of the light. Made of polyethylene using the rotational molding technique is illuminated with an energy saving light bulb or with LED RGB technology. Suitable for all indoor and outdoor spaces, it is available in various colors.
Low chair ISETTA
Design Marc Sadler
The new chair Isetta is a collaboration with designer Marc Sadler. Isetta with its curves and aerodynamic shapes create a new concept of futuristic seat. Made of rigid polyurethane using the injection molding, Isetta extends the SLIDE collection of sessions, with the intention to decorate living spaces and contract combining quality and comfort.
