The Ivy garden furniture lets itself be invaded by vegetation until it transforms, over time, into a real plant sculpture! The steel mesh structure creates a lattice to which the climbing plants of your garden will attach themselves... The designer Paola Navone wanted to pay homage to topiary art (Ivy means "ivy" in English). This side table features a lightweight steel mesh frame with openwork patterns. Ivy is the result of complex steel processing, made possible by leading technologies. The thin sheet steel is modeled like a soft fabric on a fine structure. Rigid by nature, steel transforms into a flexible material capable of assuming rounded and fluid shapes. The Italian designer combines classicism and high technology by personalizing the top with glazed terracotta tiles from Deruta. The tiles are produced and painted by hand using centuries-old manufacturing techniques - an absolute masterpiece! A fusion of past and future, a hybrid style full of poetry. The table comes with 32 tiles: 26 solid color tiles (white) and 6 tiles decorated with insect figures (black pattern on a white ground). The tiles are supplied separately: they fit together on the table top and are not fixed. You can then arrange them freely. The steel mesh structure is available in 4 colors to choose from: white, dark blue, turquoise and orange. The tiles are also proposed with fish figures (orange pattern on a blue background). The Ivy coffee table (135 x 74 cm x H 32 cm) creates a perfect ensemble with the armchair and sofa from the same collection.
