Tolix

Description

Icon industrial aesthetics from 1955, the table "55" for Tolix went through periods and styles to become a classic written in the collective memory, a "living heritage" that presents the art of French living. Incarnation of the modern style of the years' 30-'50, this steel table was imposed for its robustness and its lightness. Today, the family "55" zooms with this coffee table that maintains the characteristics of the collection: the conical tapered legs and give it lightness and subtlety to the form. Emblematic and "democratic", the line of metal furniture Tolix represents a significant milestone in the history of design. The credit goes to the designer Xavier Pauchard using for the first time the deep-drawn sheet metal and zinc for the production of furniture in limited series. Today, the company has acquired high-performance digital devices that accompany many manual tasks and the tools inherited from history. Each table coming out of the workshop is therefore unique, featuring the signature Tolix etched in the metal. E 'with genuine recognition that Tolix received in 2006, the label of "Company of Living Heritage" awarded by the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry. Production 100% French
