A true design icon, the famous Componibili features new bright colors and motifs: cockerel white, geometric red and water lily white. It is in 1968 that the designer Anna Castelli Ferreri, bride of the founder of Kartell, created the famous Componibili. This molded plastic cylinder, with sober and functional lines, is a symbol of the break that occurred in the design during the 60s. Pop, democratic, accessible, daring, practical, modular: this cabinet fully meets the needs of a new society that is being created. Componibili will soon experience great growing success thanks to its extreme functionality. Compact and versatile, it adapts to all home environments, on the ground or on a piece of furniture. It responds to different functions: bedside table in the bedroom, coffee table in the living room, cabinet in the bathroom or kitchen, stool if necessary…. Produced for almost half a century, Componibili has established itself over the decades as a true design classic. Awarded by several awards, it is exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and at the Center Pompidou in Paris.
