A true design icon, the famous Componibili presents new bright colors and patterns: white cockerels, geometric red and white water lily. It was in 1968 that the designer Anna Castelli Ferreri, wife of the founder of Kartell, created the famous Componibili. This modeled plastic cylinder with sober and functional lines is a symbol of the break that occurred in design during the 60s. Pop, democratic, accessible, daring, practical, modular: this cabinet fully responds to the needs of a new society that is being created. Componibili will soon experience great growing success thanks to its extreme functionality. Compact and versatile, it adapts to all home environments, on the ground or on a piece of furniture. It responds to various functions: bedside table in the bedroom, coffee table in the living room, cabinet in the bathroom or kitchen, stool if necessary…. Produced for almost half a century, Componibili has established itself over the decades as a true design classic. Awarded by several prizes, it is exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and at the Center Pompidou in Paris.
