These shocking realism monkeys decorate our gardens and terraces. They transform our exteriors into the jungle, as if to remind us, that in very distant times, it was they who populated the planet! Really fun and unusual, these resin lamps perfectly mimic our primate cousins from different positions: standing, sitting, suspended. They hold in their paws, not a banana, but a light bulb to light up our nights and perhaps our souls! By creating this collection, designer Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba explores themes such as the relationship between man and nature, art and design, philosophy and play. These scutlura objects, halfway between art and design, create a dreamlike and fantastic universe.
This hanging lamp is fixed to the ceiling thanks to a rosette. The monkey is suspended from a large rope of 3 meters (adjustable length), holds the lamp holder in his hands which is equipped with a cable ending in a socket to be connected to the electric current.
