Description
The Amp pendant lamp combines a retro style with more contemporary lines, and is produced using high quality materials; it is composed of a colored glass lamp, surmounted by a lamp holder in real marble. The delicacy of the lampshade, light as a soap bubble, is counterbalanced by the more massive and sensual aspect of marble. The choice of quality materials and the worked shape of the abat-jour give this pendant lamp a sophisticated and timeless look, worthy of the greatest icons of modern design. The transparency of the glass enhances the beautiful decorative bulb, whose filaments resemble a luminous bouquet (bulb included). The Amp lamp collection is signed by the famous designer Simon Legald. The idea of the shape of these lamps came to him while restoring an old radio from 1960: the Danish designer was seduced by the glow emitted by the tube amplifier. The simple oval shape of the lamp diffuses the light in a particular way and the name, “Amp”, is also the abbreviation of the English word “Tube Amplifier”.
