This is the exhibition that in the days of Milan Design Week 2016 animate the spaces of Cascina Cuccagna. An exhibition event that offers a path between real failures, pedagogical practices, innovative production processes, design challenges.
For the occasion, the Sakè project was chosen, the limited edition handmade ceramic set, which in its design phase experienced various phases, obstacles and uncertainties but kept the concept that characterized the project intact.
Il Saki project fully embraces the idea of the exhibition because through the history of this project we understand the various phases that the designer faces in the phase of realization of a prototype.

Sake is a Set Ceramic for Japanese style coffee. Inspired by the design of traditional sake glasses, the coffee cup collection aims to be a fusion reinterpretation of a classic object of Italian culture, precisely the cup. The cups also reinterpret the concept of saucer plate being equipped with a base that acts as a support element both when the cup is in use, facing upwards and when it is stored. Avoiding accumulation of dust inside, the cup closes in on itself but keeps its playful shapes in evidence.
