Local Icons. Project Alcantara-MAXXI. After you hit the 2015 the essence of Rome, this year the exhibition curated by Giulio Cappellini and Domitilla Dardi opens to a wider cultural comparison, that between East and West.
The designers Studio Job, Constance Guisset, Poetic Lab, Mischer'Traxler, Gam Fratesi, Neri & Hu, Hans Tan, Michael Young e Cosmas Gozali interpret through iconic objects, ten funds belonging to two macro geo-political areas, in an imaginary dialogue between East and West.
The inauguration of the exhibition, at MAXXI from 5 to 28 February, will take place at MAXXI in Rome on Thursday 4 February in the presence of the President and CEO of Alcantara Andrea Boragno, the two curators Giulio Cappellini and Domitilla Dardi and the designers.
