The Salone del Mobile in Milan 2023 will see the participation of Twils, a company that will present various novelties both in the dreaming and living fields, with the supervision of Matteo Ragni, Art Director of the Company.
The new dreaming collection is enriched with a new bed, Opéra, designed by Tiziano Carnieletto, which stands out for the enveloping lines of the headboard. The upholstered headboard, which vaguely resembles a theater curtain and takes its name from this, has two side wings with metal joints that allow the two end modules to be moved at will. This means that the bed has different aesthetic interpretations: completely open to enhance the grandeur of the headboard that protrudes generously from the bed frame, or with the modules folded towards the mattress, to design a more or less accentuated bergère.
Twils chooses for this bed a sartorial workmanship with vertical quilting, using an unprecedented softness to enhance the preciousness of the materials used for the upholstery. The headboard also has a shaped side wing that offers an alternative aesthetic reading and the possibility of placing more than one bedside table next to the bed. The bed frame used has a 45° inward inclination, a trick that allows you to lighten the aesthetics and rearrange the bed more comfortably. Each model can be made, optionally, with or without the A-Box system, useful for making the most of the space inside the room.
