Platek and Christo: light and art at Le Palafitte di Iseo. From 11 June to 10 July a photographic exhibition dedicated to the author of The Floating Piers.
The suggestive location "Le Palafitte" in Sulzano di Iseo hosts the exhibition of photographic shots made by Wolfgang Volz dedicated to the works ofChristo e Jeanne-Claude. The event curated by Renato Gentile has 15 projects among the most important of the artistic career of the authors of The Floating Piers, Through the lens of the German documentary filmmaker.
Le shine Platek were chosen to illuminate the magical atmosphere of this unique and original location, situated on the waters of Lake Iseo, which is located with its large glass windows that dialogue with the surrounding landscape. Strategic place from which to admire the work The Floating Piers, the building takes on the most typical characteristics of the water floating architecture, offering an exclusive point of view and clearly metaphorical.
To respond in a timely manner to the needs required by the project, ie arouse emotion, emphasize the shape and define the contours, Platek has selected some of his latest collections for the lighting of the structure:
- ETEREA, Contemporary reinterpretation of traditional lanterns from outside, placed along the perimeter of the building;
- SLIM FIT, Pallets with clean lines and the clean style that lead the eye of the visitor and walk along the walkways that lead to the entrance of the exhibition;
- FLAMINGO, Innovative and modern floor lamps positioned in the short entry path leading into the building.
Not only aesthetic design and pleasant lighting characterize the collections selected for the event, but also lighting performance and energy savings through the use of LED sources of last generation and the highest quality materials. With this new synergy, Platek confirms winning combination between light and art that, for several years, characterizes the company's multiple interventions of Rodengo Saiano in the cultural Italian and beyond.
