It has been a great success of the exhibition Ortofabbrica al fuorisalone 2013, involved a consortium of creatives, designers, artisans and businesses united by a single vision: eco-sustainability.
The concept was developed around the themes of recovery of spaces (the location, an anonymous car park, first of all, transformed for the occasion into a magical garden), of materials (Industrial waste, films, structures and industrial waste, concrete, stone, hemp, wood mountain), of products (vintage collections of household items, designer clothes), of ancient crafts (such as the craftsmanship of felt, in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna, and that of linen), energy saving (with energy products solar, lighting with very high lighting performance and very low consumption), natural architectures (such as plant furniture lines, jewels with embedded grass, vertical greenery), bio-cosmetics (with lines of natural products), natural cuisine and green spaces (bio-pool, marsh, vines and reeds).
The result is a laboratory of novelty and innovation that has its roots in a fertile past, demonstrating that the future of design passes through the search for beauty sustainable, for which we are all responsible.
