The installation of the architect Akihisa Hirata Photosyntesis at the University of Milan will show the company's solutions for the generation, management and saving energy in the home and for a sustainable future.

Panasonic Corporation will present the latest integrated solutions for the generation, accumulation, savings and management of energy in an exhibition to be held during the 51 ° Salone Internazionale del Mobile, expected in Milan between 17 and 22 April.

With the aim of becoming the first company in the world in the consumer electronics sector for Green Innovation by 2018, Panasonic will present an installation based on the concept of "Photosynthesis" to greet the advent of a new era: that of energy. renewable. Environmental problems, such as the progressive reduction of non-renewable resources, are increasingly topical and the need to create a sustainable society is becoming a common problem. For many years Panasonic has invested resources in research and development of innovative technologies and for generation, accumulation and efficient use of renewable energy in order to reduce the impact on the environment: compatible, Panasonic thus offers the possibility to lead a lifestyle that combines comfort and sustainability.

During the Salone del Mobile, an installation of solar panels will reproduce the energy cycle inspired by the process of photosynthesis: the generation, storage (with batteries), saving energy itself (through the use of LED). Each phase of the cycle will be controlled by a centralized management system. The work was designed by Akihisa Hirata, a young Japanese architect, whose artistic vision is inspired by the natural cycles and takes the form of an architecture alive and pulsating.

"Photosynthesis is a miniature ecosystem"Says Hirata, “And it can inspire an artificial future in complete harmony with the natural order of the planet, with buildings and cities becoming an integral part of the biosphere”.
