CAGE is a multifunctional device designed by the German firm Neo Design Studios, born with the intention of stimulating the contemporary and creative use of light.
The hidden symbolism of CAGE, thought in a kind of cage, is philosophical and curious at the same time, which means exactly the opposite of its name, it means "freedom to use the light as you want". CAGE has a spartan and rude feel to the way it was designed and built, CAGE means "everyday life", it looks somewhat cold and industrial, but with its generous size CAGE fills the room and sets the mood with a soft direct light. Full of potential, because it can be used in many ways, above the table, on the floor, lying down, standing, suspended, with the light upwards or downwards, however you want to use the light.
