Francesca Gerlini is the creative mind of GerlaHandmade and its “Mental Mechanical Manipulations”, a line of accessories made by hand with entirely recycled mechanical objects and materials: stops, cotter pins, filters, accelerator or brake springs, petrol or oil pipes; all rigorously cleaned and polished before assembly.
Putting aside gold, silver and precious stones and replacing them with steel, copper, rubber, Francesca Gerlini finds new harmonies between the components, thus a completely unconventional line of accessories is born that manages to combine femininity and mechanics.
