Functionality and aesthetics are the winning combination that distinguishes the projects presented by Andro Design at MACEF in MILAN. On the occasion of the International Home Show, Andro Design presented its new collections: A-Serie and Lampa; two projects that tell a design idea that speaks of functionality, where the main purpose in the realization of each product is to achieve the best combination of aesthetics, shape and use. With a unique setting of its kind, the Andro Design stand immersed its visitors in a world made of plastic materials, lights and shadows, colors and transparencies. The first collection,
A-Series, was born from the desire to reinterpret three of the most used objects - a wallet, a document holder and a bag - with the aim of making everyone's life lighter, fresher and more original. Here, then, is that the three protagonists of this project, A-Mon (the wallet), A-Doc (the document holder) and A-Bag (the purse), have such overturned and modernized shapes that the coins are found in pockets outside the wallet for to be found more easily and not accumulated, the cards and the identity card are kept in the compartments of a semi-transparent and magnetic document holder where it is easy to find everything, while the bag is equipped with a zipper that allows it to change shape according to needs and times of the day. All this was made of PVC, an absolutely unusual and original plastic material for this kind of object.
Also in the second collection, Lamps, are the shapes and materials that make all the lamps in the series unique, fun and original. In fact, the attentive observer will not only be struck by the play of light and the effects of lights and shadows generated by these products, but will discover that the materials used to make these lamps are the simplest: in fact they are cable ties for all three versions of Faslamp (Cube, Oval, Jelly) or to guard CD holder of in the case of CD Cube. Once again the daily need to illuminate a space in a fun and always different way, which dictates the need to have lamps with shapes that are suitable both for hanging or resting on the ground, whose light can be modulated or with variable colors.
