Promote Design is pleased to report the results of the competition din 2014 Contest, an initiative aimed at rewarding the products of the most original and innovative design. The winners of the contest are:

Designers winners will receive free a dedicated area of ​​the exhibition space to Promote Design for the entire period of the fuorisalone 2014 (8 - 13 April 2014).

Gary Berche and Natacha Kopec are two young boys who have studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan and then moved to France to devote himself to design. They founded the design studio and communication "kngb". The project presented is called FARO and is a lampshade asymmetric, allowing you to give the light projection style "projector" or "lighthouse".

The leather handle makes the lampshade adjustable so that you can direct the light and create the desired atmosphere without the use of complicated mechanisms. The FARO lamp is a combination of craftsmanship and innovation.

Andrea Rekalidis, 86 class, he graduated in Industrial Design at the Politecnico di Torino. During the different collaborations with design studies, participates in international competitions, winning awards and special mentions and its projects are published and reviewed by the leading online platforms and magazines.

TWIN is a modular bench that addresses the issue of sharing with the right dose of irony. Can be turned into a bench normal moving the stands at the ends of the floor or swinging in a swing with the addition of the tracks transforming the collaboration in a game. The joint between the seat and the stand is the core structure of the project, highlighted by the color contrast of components.

The brothers Luca and Alessia Perini studied at the Polytechnic of Milan alternating various experiences in Italy and abroad. In 2006 founded Alpestudio, when dealing with industrial design, interior, architecture and graphic design.

GILDO is a coffee table that the thickness of his plan contains two other elements that, combined with the appropriate supports of different sizes, can become either: tray, fruit bowls, flower pot, coffee table, stool, sidetable. The added value of the project is undoubtedly to be able to compose and decompose the elements depending on the time and the user's taste.
